INSTRUCTIONS
WEEK 7
We began creating a mood board for our dissertation book. I created a google slides for this and used some examples I found from pinterest. After I showed Dr Hayati my moodboard she told me to find more creative fonts as the fonts I chose were too corporate. I changed my fonts to something a bit more futuristic.
WEEK 8-9
Completing the first draft of my dissertation design. Dr Hayati told me to change the colors of my design to a more feminine shade. Dr Hayati told me to change the width of images and get rid of certain elements such as shapes .I changed the colors of my dissertation design to a lighter blue/green and made the fonts more narrow. Additionally, I resized the images so the sides would reach the edges of the pages. I added labels as to which figure the image is.
WEEK 10-11
Dr Hayati said to change the layout of the pages to have more empty spaces so that the design doesn’t look too cluttered. I tried a more minimalist approach and added more pages to space the texts out. I also created new pie chart graphics.
