Final Project: Billboards
For our final project we were tasked create an artwork inspired by a billboard we've seen. I found this task quite challenging since I kept thinking of where I could find billboards. Over the course of a week, I went around the city and I took a few pictures of billboards that caught my eye.
From these pictures, I got inspired to create a vibrant vibe based on fashion. I was especially inspired by shoopen's bright yellow color as it reminded me of a fun vibe. So, I decided to create a poster that focuses on fashion and emotion based on color and the objects incorporated.
I decided to use these two women as a reference since I found their poses to be quite confident and powerful:

My initial idea was to go with a summer themed fashion catalog:

However, after I added the flowers I concluded that Spring would be more fitting, especially with the clothing that they are wearing. I slightly changed the palette to a warmer, yet still bright scheme.
