Week 12: Final Project
For this project, I chose to work with the song called Fly Me To The Moon. More explanation about it down below:
I thought the sweet jazzy feel of it felt more like a slow, serene dancing scene. I searched for a few poses that could prove useful, and I also focused on the different expressions between and man and a woman when in a situation like this.
I look at art deco as an inspiration. In particular, the one on the far right which has somewhat of a textured painting effect.
I started sketching my triptych idea. Mr Hafiz said that I should change the last scene to make it seem as if they're floating towards the moon and to also change the posture of the hand in the 2nd one.
I tried to use a lot of textured brushes to make it seem as if it's a painting. The yellow is to create a warm feeling in a cold environment, reflecting on the spirit of the song. I wanted to show that his love for her literally lights up his world. I also did a lot of smoothing with the colors to give it a somewhat dreamy vibe.
However, I realized it too late that my file was way too big to export it as a gif. Please ignore the watermark as I had to screen record it and convert it into a gif.
