Project 1: Self-Portrait 

For our first project, we were tasked to create a self-portrait based on one of the things we've learned so far in our course. I've decided to do relate mine to texture and lines by using a variety of brushes in photoshop.

The Sketch:

I've decided to use a pastel scheme for the colors because I feel that it reflects on my soft personality. 

I felt that the background looked a little empty so I added red lines to emphasize on the complexity. The red lines are meant to symbolize how I have the tendency to overthink. 

Closeup:

For feedback, Ms Sherry said that the red lines looked like spider webs.
